Treasure box with ice cream sticks. Recycling crafts

Children love to keep their little treasures: be it a candy, a small toy, a pebble or a leaf from the park. How about making a very special homemade treasure box?

In GuiaInfantil we have thought of creating a wooden box using ice cream sticks. A very entertaining children's craft that children will have fun with while learning to recycle.

  • Flat wooden sticks
  • Pair of scissors
  • Pink and orange paint
  • White cardboard
  • 2 butterflies or other decoration

1. Cut a square out of cardboard and glue sticks on it.

2. Next, glue four sticks together making another square.

3. Repeat the process until the box is as tall as you like. Remember to change the side of the square to leave a gap between the rows.

4. Paint a stick with tempera and watercolors and paste the decoration that you like the most.
