So let's get to work.
- about 1.5 cups lightly ground sugar in a coffee grinder,
- one vanilla pod
Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise, remove seeds from it, mix with sugar. We cut the vanilla pod in half and put together with sugar in an airtight container, e.g. a jar. Shaken.
Sugar is ready to use after 1-2 weeks.
Vanilla sugar can be stored as long as the sugar from which it was made.
